Riding Lessons

SCC teaches the basics of horsemanship and horseback riding skills with the goal to create confident and comfortable riders. We focus on the fundamentals of riding and then trail riding to build experience. These weekly lessons include grooming, tacking up, & riding the horses.

Riding & Farm Fun

We also offer riding programs that include an aspect of outdoor fun. In small groups, our students ride horses and also participate in activities that grow friendships, responsibility, & a love of the outdoors. These activities include a lot of nature walks, ziplining, barn chores, and crafts!

Bible & Bridle

We are partnering with "Sisters Set-Apart" to offer this program that includes horseback riding (lessons & trail rides) & a bible study. The girls will have the opportunity to participate in journaling, prayer walks, and activities/games that encourage friendships and discussions about God's purpose for their life and what it looks like to be "set apart" (Jeremiah 1:5). Part of the program's cost goes towards a personalized journal.
