A little bit about
our farm and our camp…
At Stone Creek Camp our goal is to create a safe environment for children to make new memories and have fun this summer! We want to make summer camp a blast for your child. We believe camp can encourage children to try new things, make new friends, and learn to love the outdoors!
FAITH ON THE FARM
While our camp is not a Christian themed camp, we believe in the bible and the leaders of Stone Creek Camp strive to uphold the values of Jesus Christ. One of our goals is to set a good example to every child on what it means to love and respect others.
Stone Creek Camp is very conscious of your child’s safety while at camp. We have lifeguards and a nurse at the farm during camp hours, working to ensure that your child is well cared for. We also have an extremely low leader to child ratio at 8:1 to ensure that campers are being looked after and having fun all day long. We do provide and require life jackets while near/in the pond and helmets while riding the horses.
Stone Creek Camp takes place on a small family farm just outside of Crestwood, Ky. Camp features activities such as horseback riding, sports, art projects, swimming in the lake, and our own little petting zoo! Your children will love learning how to ride horses, race kayaks across the pond, and make new friends this summer!
One of the all time favorite activities at Stone Creek Camp is horseback riding. Campers love getting to ride our awesome trail horses and play games while doing it! For many children it is their first time on a horse! They can play games on the horses such as trying to balance a cup full of water or shooting a ball into a basket while being led on the horse by a leader! Safety is a priority at camp and Helmets are provided and required while riding. We want to encourage all campers to try out every activity but also understand if they would rather not do something.
Another camper favorite is pond time. The lake mat and water trampoline are huge hits! Nothing feels better on a hot summer day than getting in the pond and swimming with your friends! We have lifeguards and all campers must wear life jackets in or near the pond.
The petting zoo is in the barn and consists of some pretty awesome animals! It varies year to year but there may be kittens, puppies, bunnies, or even baby goats looking for some love and attention from campers!
We also have many different art projects for campers to work on! In the past the favorites have been tie-dying shirts and making slime! The enos are also a great spot to hammock and hangout if a camper needs a little break from the sun. When campers are wanting a snack or drink they can swing by the snack station for free snacks. No matter what camp activity your child is doing, it is going to be fun!
