Everything You Need to Know for a Great Week at Camp

We are so excited to welcome your child to Stone Creek Camp! This page contains all the important details to help your camper have a safe, fun, and smooth week on the farm.

Basics 

Location: 9425 Floydsburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40245

Ages: 6-12

Camp Hours: 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM

WHAT TO BRING 
Please send your camper with:

Sack lunch (if not purchasing lunch pass)

Water bottle

Swimsuit (worn under clothes)

Towel

Clothes that can get dirty or wet

Sunscreen & bug spray

One white item for tie-dye (Wednesday)

Optional:

  • Cash for snack shack OR add money to your child's snack shack account through the parent portal

Important:

Leave all electronics at home

Label everything with your child’s name

A lost and found area will be available throughout the week for misplaced items

Any unclaimed items at the end of the week will be donated 

FOOD & SNACK SHACK

  • Campers can either

    • Bring their own lunch everyday OR

    • Purchase a Stone Creek Camp lunch online through the parent portal

  • Snack Shack is available for snacks

  • Parents can:

    • Add money through the parent portal

    • Or send cash with their child

  • Funds can be added during the week

  • Please list all food allergies during registration

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP

Carpool Number:

  • Given on Day 1, please display it in your windshield for pickup

  • If someone else is picking up your child, send a signed note that day

Rules:

  • Stay in your car

  • Staff will escort campers

  • Follow signs and staff directions

GROUPS & FRIEND REQUESTS

  • Campers are placed in age-appropriate groups with dedicated counselors

  • Ages 6-7: Smaller groups, guided schedule

  • Ages 8-12: More independence, fully supervised

  • We do our best to honor friend requests

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • On-site nurse during all camp hours

  • Multiple certified lifeguards

  • 5:1 camper-to-staff ratio

  • Helmets required for horseback riding

  • Life jackets required for pond activities

  • Regular group check-ins

  • Secure check-in & check-out procedures

Medications & Allergies:

  • List all medical needs during registration

  • Nurse manages all medications

PAYMENT, DISCOUNTS & WAITLIST

  • $50 non-refundable deposit at registration

  • Remaining balance refundable until the Monday before camp week

  • Multi-week discounts available

  • If a week fills, families may join the waitlist

FAQ's What time should we arrive for drop-off? 10:00 AM is the the designated time for drop-off. Please do not arrive before 10:00 AM. Can my child attend multiple weeks? Yes! Many campers attend multiple weeks, and multi-week discounts are available. ​ Can my child be in the same group as a sibling or friend? We do our best to honor friend and sibling requests, though we cannot guarantee placement. ​ What happens if my child gets hurt or sick? Our on-site nurse will care for your child and contact you if necessary. ​ What if my plans change and we can’t attend? Your $50 deposit is non-refundable, but the remaining balance is refundable until the Monday before your camp week. ​ What if a week is full? You can join our waitlist and will be notified if a spot becomes available. ​ Are campers allowed to bring phones or electronics? No. Please leave all electronics at home. ​ Do campers swim every day? Water activities are weather-dependent, but are scheduled everyday. ​ What kind of shoes should my child wear? Closed-toe shoes are required. Water shoes are recommended. ​ Will my child be supervised at all times? Yes. Campers are always under staff supervision and checked in regularly throughout the day. ​ Can parents come on property during the day? For safety reasons, parents must check in at the main office before entering camp areas.
